Many NBA 2K players I know are either going for career mode, or MyTeam (gathering players in a fantasy league of sorts) or street basketball online 2K MT, which is why these three modes will be the focus the review. Like in the past, street basketball is slightly different in comparison to indoor basketball. Partly because you play 3-on-3 and have more space in the court, and partly because the opponents in street games are controlled by real people, not by the computer. Also, 2K chooses to give street basketball a more arcade experience.
The match-ups are very good and, in general, you compete against teams that are relatively evenly and well-matched. Your rating as a player isn't the most important thing, but more important is how intelligent (or dumb) you are. It's embarrassing when you're paired with someone who does not defend and wants to shoot three-pointers, but it's a fact that you cannot escape.
Street basketball looks slightly better than last year's version but you feel like you're able to have a bit more control over what your player does. In previous versions, you could get stuck in an animation which had to play before you could continue. It's not the case with 2K22.
A variety of brand new game modes are now available on MyTeam. For instance, online you can play MyTeam Draft, where you have to first select some players are not in your arsenal. The game is a much more diverse than it was before.
'The 100' is also an enjoyable addition. It is not recommended to score more than 100 total points against in multiple games. The person who finishes last (and has played the best) takes home the victory Cheap NBA 2K22 MT. MyTeam is doing everything it can to convince players to purchase player packs or player contracts when you buy the game. It's not looking good as of now.
